Salary range K301,747-K358,381

To coordinate, implement and facilitate Concern Worldwide’s Conservation Agriculture (CA) project at the TA level

Identify I conjunction with the Project Manager, displaced households and affected households to participate in the project, Build the organisational capacity of Village Development Committees and beneficiary groups/clubs, Implement a continuous training scheme for beneficiaries concerning the various agricultural/agribusiness, organisational capacity building and natural resource management activities, Coordinate inputs supplied to beneficiaries in close collaboration with the Project Manager and local Ministry of Agriculture Extension staff (AEEC), Facilitate participatory panning and strategy development with TA/EPA partners to meet Area development targets and objectives at TA/EPA level, Ensure that all project interventions are carried out with full participation of the community and other stakeholders, develop with beneficiaries/communities monitoring and evaluation plans, ensuring these feed into the Project M&E plan at an area and national level,
 Conduct regular meetings with beneficiaries and partners within the TA to track progress in achieving monthly, quarterly, annual and overall objectives and targets, Prepare regular implementation reports for presentation to Concern Worldwide and counter parts on the program, Facilitate partners to collect data for effective monitoring, influencing management decisions an deplaning

Essential Diploma/Degree in Agriculture/Crop Production/Agriculture Extension/Plant Science/Soil Science/Horticulture, good understanding of basic agronomy ad plant biology, Expertise in crop production, soil fertility management and agribusiness planning, Expertise in environmentally sustainable farming, Experience in working with volunteer farmer extension systems, particularly women farmers, Good understanding of community based approaches, Experience in facilitating capacity building for CBOs and other local partners, Expertise in practical use of participatory approaches, Strong facilitation, communication and mentoring skills, Good written and spoken English, Experience in handling and accounting for project cash on day to day basis
