RAcE Project Manager – 1 post – Lilongwe – Save the children – Re-advertised
Available for an initial period of 18 months, renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
Reporting to the Senior Child Health Advisor, the Project manager will lead Save the Children’s WHO-CIDA funded Community Case Management Project in Malawi for children below 5 yrs of age, the intervention is delivered by HSAs in hard to reach communities in Malawi under the ministry of Health (MOH)’s Child Health Strategy, S/he will work in close collaboration and coordination with MOH authorities and staff at national and district levels, In addition the Project Manager will be responsible for developing monthly, quarterly and yearly detailed program activity implementation plans including expenditure budgets, projections and other appropriate requirements, S/he will provide technical support on project performance and routine monitoring and all aspects of the project cycle
Applicants should have a minimum qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Medicine or Nursing Degree, those with post-graduate Degree in Public Health will be preferred, in addition the applicant should have at least 4 yrs of experience in managing and implementation of a child health program, experience in community mobilisation and training, demonstrable skills in planning and budgeting
