Supply Chain Officer - 1 post – Lilongwe – Save the Children – Re-advertised
Available for an initial period of 18 months, renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Supply Chain Officer will work in collaboration with the Supply and logistics Coordinator by providing support in forecasting and qualification needs, warehousing/storage, inventory management, transportation and distribution of CCM drugs and other project supplies, S/he will also assist with pipeline analysis and monitor CCM commodities procurement and availability using appropriate tools, Carry out logistical operations, maintaining record off acquisition and orders placed for procurement of commodities, arranging the necessary transportation and dispatching supplies to the districts including maintain regular track of procurement order placed and supplies I pipeline with anticipated delivery dates
Applicant should have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Diploma in Pharmacy or any relevant qualification with at least 3 yrs experience in Logistics Management, preferably with drug commodities with a non-governmental organisation
