Data Entry Clerks
MSH is supporting the Department for HIV and AIDS in the Ministry of Health in carrying our quarterly supervision in over 700 health facilities around the country, Every quarter the supervision forms are entered in an Access data base and this takes up to 4 weeks by Data Entry Clerks
Reporting to the Head of Department at Department of HIV and AIDS, temporary data Clerk swill be expected to : Check completeness of received forms and prepare for entry, Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered, Keep track of data and source documents received, Prepare, sort and file source documents, Enter data into compute from source documents, Resolution of data questions, inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and retrieving of missing data for facilities and district offices, Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient records management and paper filing system Keeping record of work completed, Communicate with District and Zonal offices relating to M&E data and reports

The longer term survival and clinical outcomes will be determined through a smaller subset of 1,300 mother-infant pairs that will be followed up to 48 months, The study will primarily determine the mother-to-child transmission rates and the HIV-free survival in these cohorts, These cohorts will undergo HIV testing at enrolment , 12 months and at 24 months of age, MSH is implementing the national Evaluation of Malawi PMTCT Program (NEMAPP) that aims atp evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Prevention of mother to Child Transmission of HIV Program in Malawi, o achieve this, the study’s approach is to follow one annual cohort of 3,400 HIV-exposed 40-26 week old infants and their mothers until 24 months of age or weaning, Infants will be identified at a visit to an under 5 clinic in randomly selected 5 health facilities in 10 districts in Malawi
Minimum MSCE and at least 6 months prior working experience in data entry
Reporting to the data Manager, Data clerks will be expected to enter data into study databases through Teleform system, Clean data in study data bases using NEMAPP front-end interface /queries . Resolve data queries within specified time period, Sort, pin and resupply forms to study facilities within a specified time period
